Rogers offensive lineman Lee Ziemba, regarded as the top college prospect in Arkansas for the 2007 recruiting class, has scheduled a press conference for Friday morning to announce that he will attend Auburn University.
Ziemba (6-foot-7, 305 pounds) had more than a dozen offers from Division I schools, but narrowed his final two choices to Auburn and Arkansas. Ziemba took an official visit to Arkansas last month and took a trip to Auburn last weekend.
Ziemba was a three-year starter at Rogers and was named the Arkansas Gatorade Player of the Year and the Class 7A Player of the Year by the Little Rock Touchdown Club after helping the Mounties reach the state title game.
